How far in advance do i need to book?

As soon as possible. Wedding photographers get booked quick for certain times of year. June, September, and October are always my busiest months.

How do you describe your wedding coverage?

Customization! I do my best to get candid shots as well as formal shots. Your coverage is completely customized to what you are looking for and what is the most important to you.

What distinguishes you from other photographers?

I feel like that's a loaded question though I get it a lot. I'm laid back and fun but I know how to get down to business. I'm not afraid to take charge and get people moving if you're wanting a strict timeline but I'm also the one that can make you laugh when you feel like throwing up over your nerves. I'm someone you can call in the middle of the night if you need color coordination help or if one of your bridesmaids is pissing you off and you want to vent.

Do you have a portfolio I can see?

Sure! A lot of examples of my work are view-able on my Facebook. It's updated after each wedding. If you'd like to see a whole gallery let me know and I can send you a link to look through.

What type of camera do you use?

A good one. Lol. Seriously though, Nikon d810 with a variety of lenses is my main camera. I have a backup I bring as well just in case.

Do you shoot digital or film?

Digital. I can do film inspired edits if you want that look.

Do you provide black and white and color copies?

If you don't specify I will use my best judgement on which images to convert to black and white. Sometimes black and white will truly set the mood and make an amazing image even better. If you want lots of black and white images just let me know and I will do my best to fulfill your request.

Can we give you a shot list to use?

I will ask you for a family formals list from the beginning in my questionnaire. If you are wanting specific shots for your formals I will do my best to get as many as time allows but I don't guarantee a full Pinterest board you send. Due to the limited and subjective nature of the event, any lists you send will be reference material and I will get you great images that are true and individual to you.

what information do you need from me prior to the wedding?

I will send you a questionnaire from the beginning. It is going to help me gather all the information I will need in one place. As you plan you can edit as much as you would like and I will be able to see those updates.

Do you have REFERENCES?

Yeah, absolutely! All my brides are amazing and some have left reviews on my Facebook page. If you'd like more let me know and I can gather their email addresses for you!

Do you charge a travel fee?

If you're more than 2 hours away from my location (zip code 41051) there is a travel fee of $0.63 per mile.

will you be shooting other events besides mine?

Not on your wedding day. I only book one wedding per day and the retainer fee you pay in advance blacks out that date for other inquiries.

Do you offer a second shooter?

If your package includes one yes. If it does not and you would like to add a second, let me know and I will adjust your final price.

How will you and your team be dressed?

Typically in black. No jeans or shorts. If your wedding is a very formal affair let me know and I will make sure we dress accordingly for that as well.

Is is ok for other people to take photos when you are?

I am always a fan of unplugged wedding ceremonies. I whole heartedly believe having your guests be in the moment and experience it vs getting it taped on their phone or tablet is an amazing thing. With the formals I will not mind people shooting over my shoulder if they are not being obtrusive. We have limited time in between ceremony and reception to get all the photos you're going to want so if it is taking longer for multiple people to want a shot of everyone looking at them I will have to politely refer them to the reception area as we need to work on that limited time.

What time will you arrive and leave?

That will depend on the package you choose and the timeline you (or we) have enacted. Request a consultation to go over those details.

If my event lasts longer than expected or I want you to stay longer will you? is there a charge?

Yes and yes. I will stay the duration of your contracted package. I will come to you about half an hour before the time I am contracted to leave and you will have the option to expand your coverage time. It is $300 per hour the day of and must be paid that day.

When is my final payment due?

2 weeks prior to the date of the wedding.
